Rococo 39 Fireplace Surround
The Rococo 39 is based on a richly ornamented 19th-century French fireplace in the Louis XV style. A substantial serpentine shelf follows the line of the panelled frieze, centred by an intricately carved shell cartouche and floral motifs echoed on the C-scroll end blocks. Further foliate carvings continue down the jambs, completing the elaborate Rococo design.
