Burgundy 158 • Tanyin Travertine

Modelled after an 18th-century antique, the Burgundy 158 in Tanyin Travertine is a gorgeous example of the Louis XV and Provincial styles. The subtle serpentine shelf and panelled frieze are complemented by the hand-carved foliate detail of the cartouche, echoed by matching foliate end blocks and scrolled panelled jambs typical of the style. The Tanyin Travertine used to craft this fireplace was sourced from now-closed quarries, making this material increasingly rare. With no new blocks being extracted, what remains is limited, offering a unique opportunity to own a truly distinctive piece.
