A timeless marble mantelpiece in the mid-Victorian style. Beneath the rectangular moulded shelf, a central keystone features at the highest point of the traditional arched opening. The panelled spandrels are flanked by elegant fluted corbels with shell skirts and further panelling on the jambs.
