Turkish White Travertine
ABOUT
Turkish White is another variety of travertine quarried from Turkey. Travertine is formed by specific mineral deposits in natural springs that transform the stone from its original limestone state. Its porous appearance is the result of tiny air bubbles trapped beneath the surface. It can sometimes feature a soft wave-like pattern that mimics the ripples of the natural springs where it formed hundreds of years ago.
FINISHES
We recommend a medium-to-high-grade honed finish for clients interested in using this material for their fireplaces.
