Turkish Beige Travertine

ABOUT

Turkish Beige is a type of travertine quarried from Turkey. Travertine is formed by mineral deposits from natural springs that transform the stone from its original limestone state and give it a wonderful, porous appearance. Ranging from tan-beige to creamy-beige in colour, it is well-known for its incredible durability but perhaps more so for the exquisite imperfections, such as little cracks and crevices in the surface, which form part of its charm.

FINISHES

We recommend a medium-to-high-grade honed finish for clients interested in using this material for their fireplaces.
