Ornate French Louis XVI-style marble fireplace surround with moulded break-front shelf. The plaque at the centre of the panelled frieze is embellished with a garland of summer flowers intertwined with ribbons and flanked by an abundance of foliate carvings and floral motifs. The matching foliated patera corner blocks rest on decorative scrolled console jambs adorned with acanthus leaves.
